About Me:
I actually joined YouTube back in early 2006, when the site was starting to rise in popularity. I initially did a bunch of gaming related videos that were more informative than entertaining. These videos proved to be mildly popular, but not enough to satisfy me at the time, so I thought, "Oh, I'll upload these really popular videos onto YouTube so that people can easily watch them!". I got suspended in April 2007.
Learning my lesson, I made this account in May 2007, and decided to go back to the gaming-related videos, but have them be more entertaining. They were, frankly, quite shit (you can still watch some of those shitty videos right now, if you want to).
Over time, I matured, and realised that I needed good quality videos in order to succeed on YouTube, so I thought of ideas that may appeal to the common gamer.
On October 17 2011, this channel was officially partnered with YouTube, meaning that I could money from my videos based on views and advertisement clicks. This was definitely a huge boost for me, and I decided to put more time and effort into future videos.
In early November, I discovered the brony community: teenagers and young adults (primarily male) who had taken a liking to the show "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic". I initially thought nothing of it, thinking that this fandom would die out relatively quickly. Over time though, I became curious as to why the fandom had maintained itself for over a year. I decided to watch the first 2 episodes, out of curiosity. I first thought of those episodes as really cheesy; how could anyone like this? But then I watched the later episodes, and I became hooked.
Yes, I am a brony.
I also decided to watch some of the community's offerings, such as PMV's. I liked them so much, I wanted to do some of my own PMV's, so I went and done that.
Am I done with the gaming videos, for good? Well, I do plan to return to them someday, and I actually want to do some HMV's (Halo Music Videos) at some point, after I have gained some initial experience with the PMV's.
