Chet Atkins new esurance latest commercial song Jam Man Svinka Hit By TEXTING ! http://www.youtube.com/watc... http://www.youtube.com/w...
Wow, when I heard this song I said to myself "it may sound like just a guy is just strumming chords, but the technique is marvelous and there is lot going on there to learn." I knew it was a guitar player who knew what he was doing.

Rollin' on the moon
Apollo 16 lunar rover on the moon. You are really bouncing. Never seen a driver like this. Rooster tail. Sharp turns.
I don't know if this was the Apollo mission I'm thinking of, but there is no lonelier scene then when they took photos of the moon's surface with the lander far off in the distance.

Real Paro Bhutan Landing 15 A319 Cockpit
Paro Bhutan Landing Runway 15 A319 Cockpit
This is crazy. It takes more than half the video before you can even see the runway. Slow landing speeds barely above a stall, plus hard maneuvering and ground turbulence is insanity.

I have always hated Yessongs for showing aquatic wildlife instead of Steve Howe's hands while he is playing the live version of my favorite guitar solo from the 70s. Now with YouTube I have other live vids to watch, but this version has always been my favorite alternative CTTE version.

Since pine trees don't grow in neat rows in the desert all the trees you see in the one shot were cut elsewhere and stuck in the ground for the test. The yield of this artillery shell was about the same as the Hiroshima bomb.

The Musical Box Trick of the Tail
Extracts of Genesis Trick of the Tail re-creation by The Musical Box
After listening to this, I think I'll go see them when they come to Cleveland this November. Genesis (with Hackett) is my second favorite band after YES, but I never got to see that lineup. I think I'll go to see The Musical Box and close my eyes and pretend. Their sound seems dead on.

Rich's String Theories: Yes "Starship Trooper" Guitar Lesson (coda section)
In this video, I give a short lesson explaining what slash chords are, and demonstrate how to play the coda section to the Yes song "Starship Trooper"
And if you want to do the live variation that Steve does in concert you can occasionally play the lowest C chord an octave higher by moving the same chord shape up 12 frets. Now show me the first two chords. I know they are E and A, but there is something about the voicing of that A chord I can't...
