The difference between an unsaved and a saved Christian:
- the unsaved one says "I believe in God"
- the saved one says "I believe God"
(Read the Bible Matthew 7:21, James 2:19 etc.; even better, read the whole chapters. You have a mind, so discern; and repent and pray when you stumble.)

There are many teachers/teachings who/which have light, but none that give life. And even if one walks in this light his whole life (say 80 years), what good will it do after death and how long is it compared to eternity? But glory to God/YHWH that His Son Jesus/Jeshua(Jahushua) gives us eternal life and then lights the path of our alive footsteps.
"In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it." [John 1:4-5; NKJV]

Look closely at how Jesus says "I am..."(~ YHWH):
- "And Jesus said to them, `I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.' " [John 6:35; NKJV]
- "Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, `I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.' " [John 8:12; NKJV]
- "[7] Then Jesus said to them again, `Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. [9] I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.' " [John 10:7,9; NKJV]
- "[11] `I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. [14] I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own.' " [John 10:11,14; NKJV]
- "Jesus said to her, `I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?' " [John 11:25-26; NKJV]
- "Jesus said to him, `I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.' "[John 14:6; NKJV]
- "[1] `I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. [5a] I am the vine, you are the branches.' " [John 15:1,5a; NKJV]
