Protect Yourself 1, Inc., (PY1) a Non-Profit Organization with Federal Tax
Exempt Status 501 (c) (3) has been operating in Maryland since August 2005.
PY1 is a community-based organization, and its Board of Officers, Advisory Board Members, corporate team, and volunteers comprise a talent pool of doctors, educators, multimedia and print designers and producers, managers, coordinators, attorneys, financial strategists, business leaders, musicians, artists and a master horseman residing in Maryland and internationally.
PY1 is a media-driven agency with a focus on providing HIV Awareness, education and Prevention in innovative ways. PY1 has a history of development and implementation of social marketing media campaigns and services in the local metro urban areas and regionally.
The Protect Yourself 1, Inc.'s mission is to increase Awareness, Education and Prevention of HIV and related diseases by using art, entertainment, nature, animals and events to foster a sense of individual responsibility that encourages positive behavioral change among the general public.
