Bass Progression

I've been actively teaching myself bass for going on 4 months now and have had a LOT of help from the fellow You-tubers. Mainly without them even knowing it. The biggest help has come from "Blyss" and "MarloweDK" (Look them both up on Youtube..great bass players)

In my quest for bass awesomeness..I have gone through about 6 different basses in a matter of months..trying to find that one perfect sound. In some of the videos you'll see a no-name bass (the wood colored one used in "We are Family"), A Samick (Used in "Glide), A Brice 6-string (Used in "Brighter Day")and then you'll see a Deluxe Jazz Fender (the yellow one). I finally found the sound that I was looking for in the Signature Marcus Miller Jazz Bass. It will be the last bass for a long time.

A big thanks to all who post vids of themselves playing. For beginners like me, you'll never know how much help that is. So thanks again. You keep em coming and I'll do the same with whatever you teach me.
