@MegaDwell The old heavens and earth was the Old Covenant age which ended in AD 70. The new heavens and earth, the New Covenant age, arrived fully after the first was removed (Heb 10:9).

The 144,000 were called FIRST fruits. This places them in the FIRST century as the New Covenant age began. To place them in our day or the future they would be LAST fruits.
