Terence Kemp McKenna was an American author, public speaker, metaphysician, psychonaut, philosopher, ethnobotanist, art historian, and self-described anarchist, anti-materialist, environmentalist, feminist, Platonist and skeptic. During his lifetime he was noted for his knowledge of psychedelics, metaphysics, plant-based entheogens, shamanism, mysticism, Hermeticism, Neoplatonism, biology, geology, physics, phenomenology, and his concept of novelty theory.

It was through Kaayla's natural sensitivity to energy that she became interested in crop circles and their sacred geometry. After making her first crop circle using beads, she studied fine jewelry making at the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts in San Francisco, took courses from the Gemological Institute of America, tutored privately with a famous Bay Area jewelry designer, Bob Winston, and took numerous classes in silversmithing, gem stone identification and lapidary.
Combining her technical abilities in jewelry, drafting, and design with her spiritual awareness and sensitivity, that she evolved a line of fine jewelry and medallions called LightCircles™ representing the nearly 60 original crop circle designs, her main focus since 2000.
Kaayla has developed Crop Circle Energetics, a quantum energetic technology using LightCircles medallions to balance the subtle energy fields of the body in a very personal way; a system for witnessing the experience for each participant based on the premise that people do not need fixing. This non directive and neutral method of facilitating allows for each person to connect with their own information and interpretation of their experiences of these universal frequencies which heighten awareness in many; giving them an opportunity to re-Source their own natural state of well being and personal wisdom.
She says, "I make crop circle jewelry and work with the subtle energy responses of people who wear and use them in their energy fields. The crop circles encoded frequencies and information (Light) are given to us to speed up the process of transformation; giving support to humanity and the environment in shifting the focus to creating and transforming reality at the quantum level." She feels compelled to make their information available even to those who cannot travel to the locations where they are found.
