actually the platypus has a better power move than what was mentioned is the fact that they produce powerful venom unique to the platypus

@Xero370 a turtle skeleton is fused as part of the shell it doesnt actually have any skin other than what you see on its head legs and tail

i dont think they would bring in carnage because carnage is way too insane for the movies partly for the fact that it would also relinquish venom as a villain and would put him on the chaotic good side of things however i think it would be a good idea to do the ( carnage is my favorite villain ) ...
