I also enjoyed being at Six Flags Great Adventure on any weekday rather than weekend, because sometimes on most weekends, the crowds get even bigger and the lines can be longer, however, it is worth it.

I go to Six Flags Great Adventure every Saturday from April through October depending on the good weather conditions. Some roller coaster rides have been shut down if there's an inclement weather such as rain, or gusty winds. However, if it's raining too hard, all roller coasters will be shut down. I have Season Pass cards, and I always renew them every year the day after my birthday before the park opens in early April.
Roller coasters at Six Flags Great Adventure currently are: Kingda Ka, Rolling Thunder, El Toro, Bizarro (formerly Medusa), Superman: Ultimate Flight, Green Lantern, Batman: The Ride, and Nitro. Viper opened in 1995 closed in 2004 due to too many twist sections, Batman and Robin: The Chiller opened in 1997 and closed in 2007 due to not operating.
Sky Ride was the first ride debut when Great Adventure opened in 1974, it is still going strong today, but in 2011, Sky Ride made a new color painted, instead of just the red and blue cable cars, they added yellow, brown and green cable cars as part of a sponsor by M&M's.
Rolling Thunder was builted 32 years old since 1979 and it is the one and only oldest wooden coaster ever to be alive today, Great American Scream Machine was builted 21 years since 1989 and contains 7 loops and for the 2009 Season it was sponsored by Got2B on the white train, but this was changed to Axe Twist for a short time in 2010. However on July 5, 2010, it is official from the Facebook page and officially from the website on July 9, 2010 that the ride was closed on July 18, 2010 to make room for a new attraction in 2011. However Chang will most likely to be in place in 2011, but on September 16, 2010 Asbury Park Press announced the ride will become Green Lantern. The track remains the same as Chang from the now-defunct Kentucky Kingdom, and this is the second stand-up coaster to be built since the now-defunct Shockwave, and halfway after the brake run, the yellow track of the corkscrew appears as part of the Green Lantern storyline, but this was changed, the yellow corkscrew track repainted back to green, and yellow track repainted from the big loop first drop, and also in June 2011, they added a Parallax Theming before the yellow track big loop. Green Lantern will open on May 19-22, 2011 only for Season Pass Holders before it opens to the public on May 25, 2011. Batman: The Ride builted since 1993 and used to be the black track from 1993-2004, but as of 2004, the track repainted yellow. Medusa was builted 10 years since 1999, but on October 23, 2008, president Mark Kane announced that they will be re-designing the track during the off-season for the 2009 Season, this features new audio, visual and water effects and Medusa becomes Bizarro, and also the track repainted from green to blue. Bizarro will be the name change from Medusa as confirmed on April 1, 2009. Bizarro will not be open to the public until May 23, 2009. Nitro was builted since 2001, it used to have signs during the lifthill, but as of 2003, they were removed. Also, Nitro's on-ride camera was previously located at the bottom of the second drop, but as of 2006, the on-ride camera was moved to the bottom of the first drop. Since 2010, the entrance and queue station prouds to sponsor by Snickers. Superman: Ultimate Flight was built in 2003, and goes flying like a bird. Kingda Ka was builted in 2005, and surpasses the Nitro, and it's the tallest fastest coaster in the east coast, and it goes like a rocket. On certain occasions of Kingda Ka, if the train fails to go up and over the top, it causes a rollback and the train is about to reset the launch. Rollbacks occur if there's high gusty winds, rain, storms, or any other inclement weather. If rollback occur with people in it, it'll first getting off the station and have the option to get off the ride. Since 2010, Kingda Ka's orange train is proud to be a sponsor by Got2B. And finally, El Toro was builted in 2006, and it goes camelback, like the Nitro, and it is the second wooden coaster to be built since Rolling Thunder. Since 2010, El Toro's second train has repainted its rainbow colors in the back of every row seats. In May 2008 Memorial Day, Six Flags Great Adventure introduces the Glow in the Park Parade, where it comes from the Movietown area and work their way through Boardwalk. The parade starts 9pm (1 hour before it closes at 10pm) beginning Memorial Day and continues through Labor Day. There's also something new called "Saturday Night Lights" Fireworks beginning July 4, 2009 at 10pm immediately after Glow in the Park Parade. However, both of them will not return in 2011.
