I worked at DFWs last CEC store in Arlington....Jul came in one night and put a GIANT picture replica of CEC done by artist Leroy Neiman...the clear coat was aawful...she was pissed, but from a distance it looked alright. I should have took photos back then.

Both commercials are the same location and film crew...Im the guy in the CEC suit. I worked at the store NRH TX (Hwy 26) back in 85....DAMN I never have seen this till now I thought all that time in the suit was wasted. I only saw the Rocka-fire commercial air.

Not sure when the Grapevine Hwy store opened, but I think it's one of the oldest Showbiz stores. Maybe around 80-82.. Many others in DFW where closed around the time I had enough. Now days I see one in every mid / big city of every state Ive been to. CEC got way bigger then I ever imagined.

NRH Showbiz was my first job..I worked game room / interactive Billy Bob for a couple of years then went to work at the Showbiz with Chuck E Cheese store in Arlington TX. CEC University was located at the rear of that (Arl) location....it was converted from the old CEC Ball Crawl / Playland area...

I worked at Showbiz in North Richland Hills Tx (Hwy 26) back in 85. I saw owner Bob Brock a few times in my day...he even gave me some inspirational speech one day while I was working a new carnival booth that was just brought in... I worked in a CEC suit for a commercial titled "Big Kid"...Lots of $$$ being spent in them days on that store!
Oh yeah! Aaron Fechter (CEI owner)showed up one night to film Billy Bob as I was controlling the "Interactive Billy Bob " segs of the nightly show...managment told me not to speak with him..so i did my job.
I was wet behind da ears back then !
Been working for Premier Amusement for past 18 yrs. Travelin TX / U.S. setting,repairing, installing Arcade machines. Also done some small market radio station work making commercials and promos.
