@zososhep Thanks! The SS has about all the gain I need to play cover gigs with tunes from the 80s hair metal bands. The other lower gain stuff I actually use the BB Preamp for so that might answer your question. I really like the SS better than the regular version....

@trefry they are pretty inconsistent sounding pickups though and the ones that were originally in this guitar sounded awful. I did sell the neck pickup on eBay for over $200 though so I guess it's making someone happy :)
