About Premier Builders Guild
Welcome to Premier Builders Guild, a new kind of guitar and amp company that makes master built instruments more accessible and affordable. PBG is a dream team of master builders, each with a unique point of view and brand, whove chosen to form a guild. Each master builder makes specific models or their complete line available exclusively through PBG.
The PBG master builders: Gene Baker; Mark Bartel; Dennis Fano; Roger Giffin; Johan Gustavsson; and Saul Koll.
All guitars except Fano guitars are built at the PBG workshop in Arroyo Grande, California. Builds are supervised by Gene Baker, a former Gibson Custom master builder and Fender Custom senior master builder. Gene and his fellow PBG master builders are in close contact at every stage of the build, to ensure that design specs are perfectly met.
Fano Guitars are built by Dennis Fano in his Fleetwood, Pennsylvania workshop; Tone King amps by Mark Bartel in his Baltimore, Maryland workshop.
