1965, man there was so much great music coming out, cars were fast and getting faster, they were turbulent times, but I would gladly go back and relive those years.

The music rights ran out on a lot of the music. CCR had a couple of songs during the run on the show and they were taken out as well.

Probably been more air guitar played to this song than any other song in history.

Actually according to Wikipedia the song came out in 1939, so that was before the Tokens in 1961. True, they are the ones who drove it to the top of the charts, but they were actually doing a cover and they did not write the song, just performed it better than anyone else.

Love this song! Generally don't like covers, but Rod Stewart has a pretty good cover of this song. The steel guitar in the middle of the song is pretty cool, would like to see John do a remake and incorporate that in the song.
