We are celebrating God Ganapati Janma (birth Day) on 26th January 2012 i.e. Magha (Name of the month) Shukla Chaturthi. We call this day as Ganesh Jayanti. I am uploading Ganapati Namashtak Stotram which is from Shri Brahma VaivartPurana, Ganapati khanda. This stotra is in Sanskrit. This stotra is told by God Vishnu to Goddess Parvati as she was angry with Parshuram (Incarnation of God Vishnu). This is a very pious and holy stotra. 1 O! Mother (Parvati) Ganesh, Ekdant, Heramb, VighnaNayak, Lambodar, Shoorpakarna, Gajavaktra, and Guhagraj are eight (Very Pious) names of your son. O! HarPriye (Wife of God Shiva) please listen the meaning of these eight names of your son. This stotra is main stotra among many and it removes all difficulties (from life of the devotees). 2 "Ga" indicates Knowledge. "Na" indicates mukti. I bow to the God of these two i.e. God Ganesh. "Ek" indicates head/leader. "Dant" indicates power/energy. I bow to Ekdant who is most powerful. 3 "He" indicates poor/weak. "Ramb" indicates care taker. I bow to God Heramb who is care taker of weak and poor people. 4 "Vighna" indicates difficulties. "Nayak" indicates the one who removes difficulties. I bow to VighnaNayak who removes difficulties. 5 God Vishnu had given him Naiyedya and God Shiva (father) given him many sweets to eat hence his belly have become very long. As such he is being called as Lambodar. I bow to God Lambodar. 6 His ears are long and like Shoorpa (shifting Pan) for removing difficulties and indication of knowledge and wealth as a blessing to the devotees. I bow to Shoorpkarna. 7 There are flowers on his head given to him by Rushies. These flowers were given to Rushies by God Vishnu as blessings. He is having a head of Gajendra. I bow to Gajavaktra. 8 He has come in God Shiva family before Guha (Skanda). He is being worshiped first, before worshiping other Gods. I bow to Guhagraj. O Durge! This holy and pious Namashtak Stotra of your son is described in Vedas also. Think over it and then take a suitable decision. The devotee becomes happy and victorious; who recites this stotra thrice a day every day. All his difficulties and troubles are removed just like serpents run away from the eagle. He becomes very knowledgeable by the blessings of God Ganesh. Desirous of a son receives son and desirous of good wife receives a beautiful, wise and good wife. A devotee who is dull becomes knowledgeable and a famous poet.

This Stotra is in Sanskrit and it is from Brahma vaivart purana. It is praise by Himalay of God Shiva. Himalay Said 1 O! God Shiva! You are Shrusti creator Brahma; you are Vishnu, care taker of Shrusti; you are Ananta, destroyer of Shrusti and you are the one who is doing well to us. 2 You are Ishwar and beyond trigunnas (Satva, Raja and Tama), you are in a jyotiroopa, you are prakruti and God of prakruti and though you are prakruti, you are beyond prakruti. 3 You help the devotees by taking different forms as devotees like for their dhynam and devotion. 4 you are sun who gives birth to the Shrusti. You are lustrous behind all the lustrous substances. 5 You are Vayu (Air), Varun (Water) and Agni (Fire). You are king of Gods, Indra; you are Kal; you are Mrutyu and you are Yama. 6 You are Mrutunjay; hence you are mrutyu of mrutyu; you are Kal of Kal and Yama of Yama. You are Vedas, you are creator of Vedas and you have knowledge of all Vedas. 7 You are Guru and shelter of all wise\learned people. You are Mantra, Japa and Tapa and you reward the fruit/blessings to devotees who perform Mantra, Japa and Tapa. 8 You are Wak-Devata and you are Goddess of Vani; you are Guru and creator of Vani. You are Saraswati hence we are unable to praise you. 9 Himalay said as above and bowed and touched feet of God Shiva. God Shiva god down from Vrishbha and blessed Himalay and settled there. 10 Anybody who recites this Stotra three times in a day becomes free from all sorts of fear and sins. 11 Anybody who don't have a son if recites this stotra for a month. He becomes father of a son. Anybody who doesn't have a wife becomes husband of a very beautiful and well behaved lady. 12 Anybody who has lost valuable things founds it by the blessings of God Shiva. Anybody who has lost his empire regains it by the blessings of God Shiva. 13-14 Jail, Cemetery, surrounded by enemies, cracking of a Boat or Ship in a deep ocean, surrounded in the dreadful war, inhaling of poison, surrounded by the poisonous insects, all types of such fears are vanished by the blessings of God Shiva when one recites this stotra at the time of falling in the above dreadful conditions. Thus here completes this Himalay Krutam Shiv Stotram which is from Brahma Vaivart Purana.

Thanks
4) Each and every day of these nine days has got unique importance, something can be written about it.
5) Many people celebrate Navaratri by their own ways. Some make a fast i.e. they don't eat much or even some don't eat at all. Thus they try to purify their body and connect them with the tremendous inflow of the holy, pious spiritual power in the atmosphere during these nine days every year. Thus there are lots of things you may know; which can be written on my channel comment for the benefit of the viewers. Thank you.
