We as individuals have the right to pursue happiness, but never off the backs of others. We have a duty to take care of those who are unable but truly unable, not to perpetuate entitlements for those who are strong and capable. And when we as a nation start down the road of appeasement well that my friend is a recipe for disaster. We are individuals, we are not the Borg, we are free thinking, self aspiring freedom loving and willing to die for it, kind of people. So for all her faults this IS the greatest nation on earth because of The Constitution!
When did America change? I fear for those who ask that question, for they are culpable, they are guilty. The problem is we are dealing with apologists, those who blame America first, those who asked what did we do to invite 911 upon our shores? Or Chomsky quote "if you want to stop terrorism, stop being one" this mind set, and those who support as much through their apathy and defense of those who wish to assimilate us or destroy us, are just as culpable as those who wish to cut us down.
