I have a rule of not giving money to pan handlers; I used to before.
But on 2 occasions the panhandlers complained it wasn't enough for the bus or a combo.
Then recently when I said no as usual, a panhandler in front of Starbucks said "just for a cup of coffee?" in a tone I didn't like so I mouthed off as I walked to my car that I made the choice to not give him anything.
