very stupid world, parents wont or can't learn sign and don't accept their children as deaf. ugh. so sad, they think deafness is an illness. anyway, without power to the ci, they're still deaf and it freaks parents out.

@ChuckMasonTV Hi, you are right, it is better to understand sounds/hearing when you're younger and it works for some with hearing loss at any age. It depends on what kind of deafness you have. My nerves (helps hearing) are dead ever since I was born, coclear implants does not work for this matter...

Cry babies! There's nothing wrong being DEAF! Geez, get a life! I'm Deaf! We had a Deaf Blue Heeler, he lived up to 16 years! Teach your dogs sign language, same wording you say to your dogs such as "sit, stay, heel, hungry? wanna go outside? etc., etc., etc., - they'll understand!!!!!!!!!!!
