Just an average college student who's stumbling through life, trying to figure out what it's all about... the high moments, the struggles, hellos and goodbyes. I do know everything happens for a reason. There's no such thing as coincidences. There are many chapters of our lives. People come and go in and out of them. They appear when you need them the most. You learn something from them when they are there. The people who stay by you through your worst moments are the ones worth sticking with. There's no need for drama. I gratefully stay away from it. I trust that God has a plan. It may be frustrating in the moment when your future is uncertain. In college, I've learned that every year is a new chapter. I'm not sure how the story will turn out, or who will be in those chapters each year, but I'll make them worthwhile. It's normal to feel scared about not knowing what's in your future. But if you knew what happened, there would be no adventure.
I love my friends and family, my little Gracie (the golden retriever I raised since she was 6 weeks old), Sadie (the cocker spaniel) and our newest addition, Bella (the craziest Marley-est chocolate lab I've ever met)! My family has also 3 cats (Callie the calico, Milo the grey tabby, and Nemo the orange calico-tabby mix.) Jake was our yellow lab. He passed the summer of '09... He's partying up there with God and Joe.
I'm learning to not make any judgements regarding myself, cuz I can't see how others see me. All that matters is how God sees me. I need to learn to trust what others think. That is a test and process for me to face. ...don't make me blush. Cuz... it's kinda embarrassing how easy it takes. Actually I don't care, cuz it gets quite a few laughs. That's all I care about :)
I can see the beauty from the inside out from lots of people! That is my blessing :)
And listening. I'm a good listener. You can't talk my ear off because... well I don't say much. I like to listen :)

"Life begins at the end of your comfort zone." Bend and stretch yourself. Take on challenges and set goals. Let happy and difficult times shape you into the person you're meant to be.
"Sometimes its better to stay in the dark because in the dark there may be fear but there's also hope." Don't worry about tomorrow. Don't think about next week, the week after, or even the next year. Soon you would be carrying the unnecessary weight of the world. Why worry about tomorrow when tomorrow would worry about itself?
"If people bring so much courage to this world the world has to kill them to break them, so of course it kills them. The world breaks every one and afterward many are strong at the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good, and the very gentle, and the very brave impartially. If you are none of these you can be sure it will kill you too, but there will be no special hurry."
-Ernest Hemingway: Everybody has a little brokenness in their life. Nobody's life is perfect. Most people don't know what goes beyond closed doors. Don't make assumptions and judge others when you don't know the second half. Walk a mile in someone else's shoes.
