"Plastic Food" is an invitation to producers and consumers to develop an eco-conscious attitude regarding the production of waste, There are already eco-friendly packaging that could substantially reduce the use of plastic, with a consequent reduction in the use of a valuable resource such as oil. The installation of the artwork "Plastic Food" in the park are what we must avoid at all costs to have a better future for us and for our children. Living surrounded by waste is becoming more and more natural, but what actually happens in nature is a life cycle that is repeated endlessly without creating waste. This is the objective that man should reach in order to rediscover the true essence of everyday life. We need to change the style of living for a better future. Plastic food is alive thanks to the continued contamination of artists from around the world.
Plastic Food This is the last of a series of installations that begins in 2000, and all characterized from the using of plastic materials. Potsy is convinced that people live an unpaid love with the same plastic that has become marvellous and irreplaceable. This artwork is nothing more than an invitation to make a walk trough a landscape that is futuristic and present at the same time. This artwork come from a very easy consideration, we must reduce our production of rubbish. It is what we will live, what we expect and that unfortunately is past and present at the same time in other regions. We survive in a society that cannibalizes certainties and that is trying in anyway to be a substitute against the natural evolution of simple living things. Our society has transformed plant- eater into carnivores, following a perverse profit logic, the same that at the and will rebound on us. Nature is frustrated and it is imploding, we can see it everyday with new pandemic and catastrophic events. Walking through Potsy's installation will thrust you into a snapshot with which you can understand how can be unnatural walking through our daily waste. Next generations will exhume the bodies of their ancestors, and they will find, instead of dust, the same polymeric anatomical part we used to "beautify" ourselves. This art work is nothing but the continuum of land art installation plastic flower.
