nice try guys but 4me its the drum sound that grates (nice mellotron sound thou) ;)

this piece is SO much better with the original organ, the orchestration takes away a lot of the beauty and surprise... the end just needs a floating accompaniment for example, its just TOO dramatic with orchestration imho ;)

@ashleymoran Ok merci, ca me fais plaisir... pour faire les litanies avec un piano ce n'est pas correct , je viens de la performée hier sur un orgue sans pedallier donc on l'a joué à deux!! ;) mais bon ce morceaux est sublime dans le extreme!! on se regalés ;)

4 those arguing about the timing of the non singing bits... they're 'simply' in 13 time, ie a 5 metre split into 3+3+3+2+2 or 4 metre with 3+3+3+4 if u prefer ;)

how can someone not like this, this is a great performance of a beautiful VERY hard piece. to keep at pitch is an ordeal in inself.

yeah I know, the 2nd bass line at the end is extremely hard to pitch and hear, I'm the only one singing it in my choir (we're 8!!) think its cause it alludes to A flat major when then piece is wholly in F minor ;)

Yip, thats exactly what I did as I'm the only bass in the choir that can hit it, think Lotti would of wanted that anyway but there are so few basses that can hit it reliably, we sung it at the basilique in Trier, Germany which was amazing and I hit the bottom C at the end. suits the pie...
