Very nice I have 2 of these bikes. Well i restored and sold one of them. i did it back 100% original. the second one i have was supposed to be a parts bike but there was too much there to use it that way sold Im building a cafe racer out of it. Its looking pretty cool.

BE CAREFULL with the rattle can paint on the tank!!!!!! Rattle can paint is not catalyzed and will melt if gasoline gets on it. Beautiful bike!!!!! I have a 1966 that im restoring. Such a beautiful bike!!! I also have this same year bike but mine is a Euro model with the dual headlights. I live up here in Clearfield UT. Its kinda different to see someone painted the top triple tree black. It is supposed to be gold. Very nice bike!!

the 85 did have a square headlight but only in the USA. in Europe they had the dual headlight. I have a euro 1985 VF1000R with the dual headlights.

The VF1000R in a parking lot is about 600lbs of dead weight but on the highway they are maneuverable. I love mine, I completely restored mine back to showroom condition. It is nice having a bike that no one else has!
