I suspect you didn`t get the hinge point at the epicenter of the bend.if you want really sharp bends, don`t forget to set back the clamp bar at lest the inside radios of the bend. tryed to send a photo but failed ? give me your email address will send direct. hope that helps

simple. I had hundreds of them ,100 for £1 at my local radio rally. I allso like them, you can do far more with reeds than you can with hall sensors.

I think you want a inductor of tube ! if its copper then fill it with molten lead (so it wont kink) wind on a former,then meltout lead,thats how I would do it .I built a flash boiler this way !
