I think this could be another leftover from a longer set of "story" songs from Tony. How "Undertow" was on "And then there were Three", but "From the Undertow" ended up on his solo album "Curious Feeling". Tony wrote some really lovely songs in those days.

I really dig this track, and the sound! It's got a great contemporary prog rock feel to it - Flower Kings, Porcupine Tree, etc. with a pop twist.

I drove a 78 Zephyr for a while when I was in high school. It was a total creampuff car too, white 2 door with white interior and a kickass 8 track stereo system. I loved that car - but my parents got in an accident in it and it was totaled (parents were okay tho, they were wearing seatbelts!)

I remember this song from my childhood, and remember how very sad it was. Watching this performance makes the song so much more vivid, and even more sad. All I can say is, Bobbie Gentry really made this song hers - what a beautiful performance. Indeed, they don't write songs like this anymore.

Good cleanup job on the video. Indeed, Rick Wakeman is a very funny man - also very nice fellow in person (now that he's sober). I'm not sure I would have wanted to hang out with them back in the day, they used to get on each others nerves quite a bit - it wasn't always a happy scene.

Damn... Greg Lake was a GOOD LOOKING man back in the day. This band was, and is, one of THE best progrock acts out there.
