As much as the audience 'booed' the judge who said 'No' he was right to do so.Take away the 'sob story' & you have a young man who wouldn't go any further with his limited vocals.It's a harsh world out there & I don't imagine any Record Label taking him on. That said,he did what he said he wanted to do & he gave a powerful,emotive performance irrespective of his damaged tongue.Who couldn't wish him well?

Still my all-time favourite Babs song.The film its'self is quite possibly one of her greatest works. A love story without the obligatory happy ending but it still portrays hope,especially at the end with "With One More Look At You/Watch Closely Now". She is a true Star.
