The writing used for spike is more accurate to his characterization than any of the other characters it seems. Twilight would NEVER make a potion without reading the whole book first, and we all know it. Spike how ever would look at dat dragon booty and think "So delicious..." whilst fainting.

Cacophony is pronounced Kuh-cough-uh-knee. It means a ruckus, a loud jumble of sounds, or a discordance of sound if you will. You of course recognize the phon part from words like telephone and homophone, but the Caco part is less used and simply means bad.
