This is a channel I will be demonstrating some of my modeling techniques, texturing techniques and just going through some good information and tutorials for 3d modeling in Maya. I'm also implementing a good amount of new Unity tutorials with a focus on iOS development.

@ MHCoohill - Yeah take a good look at the models for the wheels in your 3d app. make sure to reset the transformations on them, delete the history on them and make sure the pivots are centered for each wheel. in 3DS Max just reset the xForms on the models as well, that should reset them to a default state. Double check all of your wheelcolliders in Unity and make sure they are aligned perfectly to the wheel models, centered down the middle and scaled to the same radius. If you still have issues you can send me a screen shot of your Unity scene view and the wheelcollider settings. This will help me diagnose things a bit better.

Hi, thank you for the tutorial!... but I'm having a problem, I have now gone through the tutorial twice and experienced the same thing. I created my mesh in 3ds max, very simply, then named it and exported, after going through all the stages I then press play and the wheels do bizarre things, rotating at the wrong angle and then spinning until the car is on it's roof and the wheels are spinning, not what I was looking for :-) ...I presume it's something to do with the pivot point... any ideas how to fix it?

I've just made the transition from traditional art to the world of 3D, learning curve is massive as the gap between what I can actually do with tradition mediums and the 3D world is light years apart. Its good people like your self who make the learning gap seem not so distant. Great Work! You explain things very cleary and make me understand the whole process.

when I created my tree, the back side of of some of the planes with the leaf foliage on it go really dark when viewed from certain angles, also when i use a png format or tga texture that can use alpha channels some parts of my model become see through. I know i have done the alpha channels right and as for the dark parts i have tried turning off "casts shadows" and "receives shadows" as well as turning on a proper lighting system. Any suggestions as to how i could fix these problems up? any help would be appreciated.
