He was very much into his image. By not combing his hair and by wearing crappy sweaters and not even trying to have any personality or spunk. That was his image. Totally anti glitter or pazazz of any sort. he never really appealed to me and I thought his music was dull and basic.

He's not messing it up he's just playing it different. Eddie loves to improv! He's playing a more chilled out less notey version. If you listen to it again you'll here that it works just fine with the drums and bass.
