Founded in 2005, Guildford based digital signage company Basemap provides a valued IT partnership to organisations of all sizes throughout the UK and Europe.

PointandPress was setup after establishing that the digital signage market had not evolved to include new technology and so was not meeting the increasing needs of consumers. We noticed that many Estate Agents were using window cards or ineffective digital displays that were usually washed out by the sun. It was decided a solution was needed to bring a quality product that offered something new and could be viewed in all conditions.

In 2009, Basemap Ltd developed the window.i brand and the first interactive digital signage solution designed for local government and services providers, window.i connect.
