Project LIBERTY Field Day 2009 On November 3, 2009, POET held a field demonstration of biomass harvesting equipment with more than a dozen agricultural equipment manufacturers in Emmetsburg, Iowa. The cobs being harvested around Emmetsburg will be processed into cellulosic ethanol at Project LIBERTY, POET's first commercial scale cellulosic ethanol production facility co-located with their starch ethanol plant in Emmetsburg.
