Cat Stevens/Yusef Islam, Joan Baez (the only singer my father and I could agree on), Janis Ian, Carly Simon, Harry Chapin, whom I have met and been photographed with, Dan Fogelberg, Joni Mitchell, Kathy Matea, Dan Seals and Naomi Judd, who I have also met and spoken to recently. I have also seen Janis Ian and Joan Baez in concert-awesome. Joan Baez once drank out of a rose vase that sat on her piano at a concert I was at. I think that stuck with me more than anything else that night. Too funny and a little bit gross. She must have been very, very thirsty.
