SU is cool but NSU is quite nice on this song...I mean both bands have their own styles...the intensity and power of SU vs the clarity and fullness of NSU...

I like both arrangements even though I have heard bands better than both NSU or SU...not on this song but just in general.

I remember this...ASU had about 28 tpets, 15 mellos, 16 btones, 28 tbones, and like 28 tubas....Miles had 22 tpets, 20 mellos, 20 btones, 22 tbones, and 20 tubas...so thats like what, ASU's 115 brass to Miles' 105 brass...It was almost evenly matched...lol...but sorry ASU no power...good sound th...

@all4one331 NSU is alright and has a very taylored sound. Miles did play with more power and less control but even if NSU wanted to play without control...they were no way in hell as powerful as PMM in 2004-2006!!!

Miles in their prime would have murked NSU with the power that we had in 2004-2007...there was no contest...but I am very happy that such a band as NSU plays the hell out of it!!!

I think NSU has power moments but their real quality lies within the perception of dynamic contrast...very nice with those loud '3' notes and the ending of the song but NSU would not have made it with this arrangement in front of the 2004-2007 seasons of Miles College...the band who first played ...

NSU, I like to thank you for taking the reigns of the Dirty Diana franchise...very musical and balanced and almost nasty! lol, your B-tones, trumpets, and Tubas really give you your power!

@MeechieDaMusikGeek Miles needs to practice a better control of the song but Miles is reflective of the SWAC style where you hear that all the time except for with UAPB...they have the best balance out of any SWAC band...this FAMU arrangement tho left much to be desired...boring!!!

I think PVU has the third best Dirty, NSU is second...but Miles is the Best especially the 06 or 07 version!!! But good job to the Mellos!!!
