@mdhookey I'm glad someone can understand this. For Slovenia leaving Yugoslavia wasn't a matter of nationalism but rather a matter of surviving as a nation. It was a matter of moving forward or disapearing in a centralised Yugoslavia led by, as you say, power hungry opportunists.
