Hi my name is Evan Gilmore (DJ Plueoo7) I'm 18, Christian, and I've been producing for about 3 years now. I've been listening to E.D.M since I was 8 and discovered Dubstep when I was 11. When I was about 15, a friend of mine introduced me to his friend Nathan Miller (DJ Milla) who was a 13 year old producer, and was already performing at clubs! After meeting him I was inspired to start producing! I decided I want to spend my life producing Progressive House and Dubstep! I Don't think I'm too great at producing, I still don't understand how to work all the Vst's and I'm sill learning the names for each knob and trying to figure out in what way they will effect the sound. But with time and practice I will. I can't explain why I chose Electronic Dance over all the other genres? There's just something about it that pulls me in, when I listen to it I just connect and I feel comfortable and safe. I am Musically Educated however I've studied almost all genres back to the 1900's and I know how music has changed and developed to how it is today. I say this because people often think that Dance isn't music and because I listen to Dance music I have no idea what real music is. I do I just feel comfortable with Electronic Dance and it is music. lol Anyway I think youtube will be a good place to get some hints and tips on producing and further improving my knowledge on E.D.M.The current program I am using right now is FL Studio 10 Producer Edition so if you have any Hints, Tips, or suggestions, on producing feel free to share, and/or if you just want to chat or be friends feel free to ask :).
