I have no problem with intelligent design theories as long as they exist apart from information derived from religious texts. If we want to consider creationism in the context of science, we have to approach it scientifically or not at all.

I would have to agree that atheism can sometimes take the form of a faith. If a person adamantly believes something without proof--and the nonexistence of God is incredibly difficult to prove--then you have to take it on faith. Thankfully I am an agnostic, I don't pretend to know anything. :P
