It's not all over. If you have unlocked the Decaying Avatar you can go in with Ruby (e) bolts and autoretaliate on. 100k xp per hour, but just make sure to keep your prayer up.

BGS is not reliable though, as you need to hit 170+ for the special to be more effective than a Dark Light. Using a DL with stab for the special will lower the Corp's defence by 0%-7.5%, which is enough for Goliath's effect to start hitting more often. Keep hp above 550 at all times and SS flick....
