Outside with Platypusman

This Channel is intended to act as a refresher for myself, friends and family of the outdoor skills we may have forgotten. If you happened upon this site you are welcome to follow along, or add your tidbits of useful outdoor skills.

Making the leap- I have decided that I will begin to share my experience and understanding of the backcountry. While sharing a few ideas with friends and family I have come to believe that I may have a few ideas to contribute that may benefit those that enjoy the outdoors. Topics will include: Survival, Camping, Backpacking, Boating, and my own personal experiences on those topics.
