In 1964 Warminster came under attack from an entity which became known 'The Warminster Thing" Soon hundreds had seen "The Thing" and thousands gathered on the hills hoping for a sighting of their own. This is the story of our attempts to find out just what happened in Warminster 40 years ago, and the story of our attempts to see "The Thing" for ourselves.
We visit the town, spend nights on the local hills ... and the mystery deepens
Why are the locals so tight lipped about The Thing?
Why does Tourist Information show us the door when we ask "what was the Warminster Thing?
And just who is the mystery caller - the former government worker who encounters The Thing? - seems to know our every move, and simultaneously eggs us on and warns us off?
