Playing out of a small town in Kansas notorious for kicking out good rock and roll bands, Plan B formed in December of 2006 in Hays featuring life-long friends Pat Toepfer and Jeff Durall. After hashing over the "what if's" the thoughts became reality. The third member, Kris Fair was asked to play keyboards and then it was time to find a bass player. Pat's brother Phil was drafted and the band started rehearsing as a four piece. Soon later, Pat's childhood friend Kevin Anderson climbed aboard and Plan B went from a four piece into a five piece overnight. Months passed and new bassist Ronnie Hendershott was added to the band.

The guys have been practicing their asses off and have been playing gigs in and around Hays.

After our first few gigs, it was time to find a soundman and the obvious choice for the part was an easy one. Chad Speier was called and 5 minutes later, Chad was drooling on the new equipment and hasn't looked back since. Actually, the real reason we got a soundman is because nobody wanted to roll up the heavy, pain in the ass 100' snake. Chad's motto is, "If it's too loud, move away from the mains!"

Original songs was the original goal of the band and PLAN B has begun writing and recording a few.
