Problem with the .22 isnt penitration its just it does so much less damage then the larger rifle rounds. Sure it can kill but its not humane if its not a perfect shot.

Just a FYI they would carry the gun loaded with the 71 round drum in the weapon then keep a few box magazines on them both fit in the same weapon. BTW the drum was often loaded with under 70 rounds something to do with the spring wearing out when fully loaded.
