"If all the US was after was oil, why in gods name would they go to Iraq when the world's 2nd largest oil reserves in the world are right across the border in Canada?
Don't you think that the >$900 billion spent on the War on Terror could've gotten one HELL of a lot of oil out of Canada? Also consider that the biggest oil field contracts in Iraq went to the UK & China, NOT the US."

"Because using technology developed decades ago by multiple governments is a clear sign of evil. Especially when the nearest alternative is even MORE chemically toxic. Irony anyone?
If that was their agenda they'd be using larger weapons, rather than smaller & more accurate ones.
I guess as "suicide pawns" the ~4700 killed in Iraq over 6.5 years is more significant to you than the 16,272 murders in the US in 2008 alone. Me, I'd never consider an armed soldier to be a "sitting duck.""

"What is sad & unfair is that you would take away the greatest tank armor, and greatest tank penetrator, from our troops. All because you saw an sourced propaganda video.
Look at what the major international scientific & medical organizations say about DU. They say that DU is NOT the cause of such problems.
Also, DU munitions are dirt cheap compared to the alternative of tungsten.
PS. The irony is the fav vid on your channel shows A-10s, which uses more DU than anything else."

"There were 320 tons of DU used in the Persian Gulf War, out of 115,000 tons of munitions brought to the front lines. So why is DU any more devastating than regular old steel bombs or lead bullets?
Which do you hear about every month having killed even more civilians and caused even more collateral damage? Answer: bombs & bullets.
DU is used as a KE penetrator, which means it has a limited utility on the battlefield. Heck, the greatest user of DU are the aircraft using their 20-30mm cannons."

"It's half-life is ~4.46 billion years.
Its used as ordinance because its very dense, has "self-sharpening" adiabatic shear lines, is pyrophoric, is cheap, is LESS toxic than the nearest alternative (tungsten), and does a better job penetrating armor than any other KE munition on the market.
Its an ordinance in a dozen other countries for the exact same reasons."

Here is my credentials, pixman. I was trained in explosives at camp pendleton in 1972. I hold an ATF type 33 high explosives license, an industrial technology degree, and have worked with high explosives and computers for the last 35 years. Oh sure, i COULD be ignorant, but my guess is you are.
The Rockefeller Foundation feels it important to make sure good PR goes out and not suffer the same bad PR as Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO), which are unlabeled in the United States.
Many people do not realize the potential to have programmable organisms inside your body much less the effect of having those substances in your body.
Do we really want the large food corps sneaking nanoparticles into our food?
