Pivot Works recommends placing grease on the lip of the seals to keep dirt out and placing grease on the bearing spacer will keep it from corroding to the hub. Pivot Works uses double sealed ball bearings, so there is no need to grease them.

The spring on the seals goes towards the inside of the swingarm.
