Mahlon did play a very fine clarinet. He was one of the few that sounded like a true musican. It's a shame we can't stay around longer in life to play and listen to great music.

You guys sound great, especialy at 230 it really kick in. It gives that solid feeling.

I just made 441 for this tune. These guys were and are great at this jazz. I could listen all day and never get bored because this is my kind of music. I listen to all the great dixieland bands every time I can. I have my own dixieland band and never get tired of playing. Dixieland Jazz Is King.

Both Candy and Janet are beautiful. I would love to sing the Bass along with them. All of you guys are so talented and down to earth, it would be a pleasure to sing with the group. As Jake always said, Keep On Singing.

I would love to play Dixieland jazz with these girls. Thats the kind of music I like to play on my clarinet. Man they are great. I look for more of this kind of jazz from them. Thanks for the show.

Great playing. The sound is terrific. The best I can do in the highest register is "D" above double high "C".

I think that in Pete's hey day, nobody could touch him as far as dixieland music. His music will live on for generations to come. Some day someone will develop a different style and sound to equal the talent that has made Pete famous. Live on Pete.

I love these old takes from years ago and nobody but Pete Fountain could ever make it sound soooooo good. I think Pete is the best ever. Live long Pete.

These guys were great. The Big Chief had a great quaility to his sound. There are not too many bass singers today with that sound.
