Actually Police agencies in all countries take care of those kinds of things through their cyber divisions so in a way they're the internet police in those situations . I wouldn't really call the term "Open Source' a common term of use, it's only used within the Open Source movement to define and label that which is truly open source. And as for the internet changing it wont anytime in the near future.

You could literally cover the orbit of an atom with the amount I care. It amuses me though that apparently there is a spineless internet police for such trivialities as the semiotics of a common term of use... But not a similar internet police for ... death threats? defamation? child porn? illegal downloading? and various other things that seem so common in so many places. Perhaps that's all best left to the real police. I think so.

Open source is an approach to the design, development, and distribution of software, offering practical accessibility to a software's source code. It's not what you're doing, your license is something very different to an open source license which are defined by the open source initiative. Please feel free to point out if I'm wrong and you are in fact using one of the Initiative's licenses, I'm just after clarification as I'm seeing "Open Source" thrown around a lot where I don't see it being the appropriate term

Um not really... The licence is on the front page of the wiki, that is correct, but the licence reserves copyright and trademark but allows any use at all within the guidelines on that page.

It is open source, and is definitely made with the view that others can take stuff and run with it however they like, but it does reserve certain intellectual property rights. The licence sections make that clear hopefully. I did something similar a long time ago with a novel I wrote and that worked very well, hopefully this will be the same. If not, well so be it.
