The Pirelli Internetional Award is the world's first Internet multimedia award aimed at the diffusion of scientific and technological culture worldwide.

Awards are granted every calendar year to the best multimedia presentations that concern one of three main themes for the diffusion of science and technology: multimedia oriented toward physics, chemistry, mathematics, life sciences and ICT, the enabling information and communication technologies that define multimedia itself.

For the current edition, the overall budget prize is 115,000 euro (about US$ 130,000).
