Definitely. I'm not saying that everyone has to be Pink Floyd or Sex Pistols fan, but it's so much british music worth to explore that I will never discover everything or even 50% of it. The most important thing is to search all the time not just accept everything from the radio stations and TV (which basically 90% is shit because most of people like shit).

I'll get round to it, that's a good thing about the bands like Oasis tho, they introduce you to other bands like, the smiths, the la's, T rex, the beatles, the sex pistols, That i'd never really heard of until Noel Gallagher talked about them.
