For those like me who really do play it "straight", you've illustrated a lot of possibilities to make much more of the tune which, dare I say, isn't terribly special or exciting.

Glad to hear another Bb/Eb enthusiast. I've got a Liliput. Ukebert is spot on about the sound. Your playing also does the instrument justice; nicely varied, a bit like Tony Hall.

Steady with the haircuts, though, or you'll end up with a Foreign Legion "boule a zero".
