I love music a lot :D
Though I'm kinda not a big fan of radio music nowadays (especially as of 2010 ): ). So I really appreciate the rare artiste whose songs still bear some semblance of a tune, and who doesn't compromise their lyrics, tune, soul and musicality!
Favourite... [Bands:] OneRepublic (by a mile), Days Difference, Daughtry, McFly, The Script; [Singers-female:] Idina Menzel, Carrie Underwood, Jordin Sparks, Delta Goodrem; [Singers-male:] David Cook, Kris Allen, Adam Lambert, Shayne Ward.
In addition, I love movie music (in love with the Stardust OST), choral music (choir girl:) ), and songs from musicals of course (WICKED)!
More significantly: I am currently completely and extremely obsessed with WICKED the Musical. Got a chance to see it for the first time on 11 June 2010 when we visited NYC (Broadway: Jennifer DiNoia, Katie Rose Clarke, Andy Karl) and fell absolutely in love with it! KICKING MYSELF for not giving it any attention earlier!! Anyway apart from the awesomeness of the production, this musical moved & inspired me like you cannot possibly imagine, and changed me For Good. It made me laugh and cry and think really hard about things.
Also, I have an insane amount of respect for many of the past and present actresses of Elphaba and Glinda.
Right now, I'm trying to piano-cover some of the Wicked songs. And waiting oh so patiently (or not) for the next chance I can get to see it again, but I really don't know when that day will come.
