About Me:

Turned 66 last October. Sing and play in our church choir. Throughout December our choir sings carols in a few retirement homes as well as fund-raising gigs for Demelza which provides hospice care for children. We formed 'Pic n' Mix about a year ago.So called because we aren't a group but do our own things, but we also support one another (at least I do, lol).
Barry plays singalongs on his banjo which really gets the place buzzing. He also entertains in nursing homes throughout the year.
Caroline is my daughter. She has the most beautiful voice and has been teaching herself guitar for the past year. I'm afraid she's heavily influenced by my tastes in music and loves pretty much what I do: not surprising as she has had a steady diet of Johnny Cash, Kris Kristopherson, Elvis, Buddy Holly plus Irish folk, since the day she was born (poor soul!) but she also has her kinds of music which is closer to the present than mine. Caroline also a has large repertoire from the classics which include favourites like Schubert's 'Ave Maria', 'Panis Angelicus' .
