About this user

As far as music goes, which is a big part of my life. It all started back in 1972 when I first heard Rocky Mountain High (John Denver),on the radio. I didn't have a radio as a kid back then, but my sister had one in her room. She always turned the radio up when that song came on so I could come in and listen to it. A few years later I got a guitar for Christmas, and that was all it took. A short time later, a friend showed me how to play some John Denver tunes and I was hooked. He also turned me on to Jim Croce and Gordon Lightfoot. After I got married a few years later, I didn't play much for 20 or so years. About 3 years ago I started playing more and also began playing at a local talent and community show. Now I play out at a local restaurant every two weeks or so. I wished I never stopped play back then, but with a family comes priorities. My all-time favorite song is, and always will be, "Poems, Prayers and Promises" by John Denver.

Obvisously music, along with family, spending time with my three Golden Retrievers, Barney, Bailey and Baxter. It's a "Barney and Bailey Circus...get it? Baxter is part of the freak show and Barney stars in the side show! :-) Bailey is just a big lover. I also like bowling when I have a chance, fishing, camping, oh, did I mention music? Oh I didn't...music and playing the guitar!...oh, and did I mention Barney and Bailey, my Golden Retrievers? lol!
