I'm not sure who it is, it does have that Father's Song vibe. Father's Song is the ultra rare song A/k/a Love theme from Purple Rain. It is on the flipside of one of the Purple Rain 12" singles, maybe a promo, I don't remember. I have a recording of it somewhere.
